In general, Wadjet is a bit of an odd one for his family. He definitely takes after his mother Lindsay the most, in terms of his bubbly, bouncy attitude. He loves the company of his family. Much of the time he enjoys hanging around them (figuratively and sometimes literally), and much to their dismay he doesn't understand social cues. The cues he has the hardest time understanding are personal space, scarcasm, and body language. While he has a harder time understanding these things, he will back off if he is told to and will follow orders as long as they're followed up with a "please." To some, he's hard to tolerate, to others he's probably tolerable. Probably...
Wadjet enjoys the little things like bugs, sunlight, and flowers. When he's allowed to, Wadjet will spend most of his time outside watching bugs and flowers, or just laying down and taking in the little bits of nature in Sirena. He'll joke to his family by saying "he needs to photosynthesize sunlight." This joke came about after asking Lindsay if he was a plant because of their matching green color. After spending hours or so outside (and getting pretty sweaty from his adventures in the sun), Wadjet will return inside and look around for Nekhbet. After finding them, Wadjet will promptly flop against them just to make them share in their sweatiness as well. He finds much joy in annoying his twin, but occassionally regrets it soon after.
When Wadjet is not outside, he enjoys doing puzzles inside. He'll spend vast amounts of time sorting 1,000 piece puzzles by edges and color before finally beginning his project. On days when he's particularly bored, Wadjet will get two or more boxes of 400+ puzzle pieces, dump them all out, and mix them together. After creating his beautiful mess, he'll
sort through them all and put them together to the best of his abilities.
Along the lines of the family business, Wadjet hasn't quite found his proper place yet. He attempts to make the others happy by participating in their unique talents (explosives, fire, etc.) but almost always ends up hurt or too
overwhelmed to try again. On top of his lackluster skills is a secret that very few in his family know about. That
being... he's a pacifist. With all these odds against him, Wadjet feels like a misfit and disappointment to the family
name. When he's been completely overwhlemed by his family he sometimes tries to hide from them. It started first by hiding under the bed when he was little and as he got older he began leaving the city for set periods of time.
One of the big factors that brings Wadjet back to his family is his mother Lindsay. While he doesn't understand or really appreciate her special "skills", he finds himself most similar to her and with that comes some comfort. The other big factor is his twin Nekhbet. Despite it being a poor idea to, Wadjet puts all of his trust in Nekhbet and confides in them everything he's feeling. He considers himself to be a better "sidekick" to Nekhbet rather than having his own place and skills among the family. Even as a sidekick though, he doesn't exactly do much. But for now, he's okay with that.
