Being an Adult
In his adult years, Wadjet began to encounter more mature, more personal problems. He found his place in the family as simply being Nekhbet's sidekick. However, he is not the 100% bubbly personality he was as a child. Instead, he now realizes and has come to accept the dangers of his family's work and the darkness behind the city of Sirena. While he still enjoys being outside among the plants and the sun, he is a lot more cautious and weary. Wadjet now understands the dangers that come with the Marias-Tau name, having dangerous encounters because others recognized him. He constantly fights battles in his mind, tearing him between resenting his family for being abnormal or staying close to them because they can offer protection from others.
The only thing that has stayed relatively stable is his relationship with Nekhbet. He continues to confide in them and tell them his most personal thoughts. He believes and trusts that they will always be there to help him through the confusion and the chaos. While some tell him his trust is being misplaced, he continues to be wholeheartedly confident in his twin.
